What a nice place! Your article sends me reminiscing back to the days when I lived in Monreal as a student of Concordia University … Great memories of the university area and Vieux Montreal. Nice to hear from you. Yes, I thought you’d like this place. It felt genuine and steeped in historical romance in all the facets of the word. Hi Toulouse,

Thanks for this article and pictures. I learned a lot about Gruyeres, both castle and town. Thanks! I love that castle. It resonates with the romantic in me; I’d love to stay at the farm at the bottom of the hill and write a gothic novel or historical fantasy with that town and castle as my setting. WOW! It is an evocative transporting place and I feel drawn to the energy the photos provide. Especially the courtyard, ramparts and the Knights hall!

I would enjoy being an official guide for Switzerland. :-3 … Be sure to see my posts on Swiss wine (yes, they DO make great wine — they just drink it all themselves!), artisanal chocolate (of course I had to sample them all! Meow!), and other exotic historical and utterly breathtaking locations in Western Switzerland.

Dear Toulouse: The allure of the Castle and Cheese has my whiskers quivering in utter delight.The poetic similie of the warmth of the earthy doors of the castle, gave way to the nutty textures of the cheese complimenting the experience, I am sure?

How artistic you are, for a moment in time I have been whisked away to the magic of Switzerland. I think you should be Switzerland’s official guide.
