Help Send Toulouse To Patagonia! MEOW!
…Is it possible to have a memory of a place you’ve never been?
The name Patagonia conjures something that no longer exists or if it did only in your imagination. But there is such a place!
“I’m always looking for places to visit and find more great adventure; something I can then share with my readers,” says Toulouse. “Patagonia has lurked for years on the edge of my mind, tickling some memory cells from another life.”
Patagonia seems so far away in distance and time… a romantic notion from another dimension…and yet, all you need to do is head south. And, BINGO! Getting there is almost as easy as letting yourself fall…
Patagonia is the old name for the southernmost part of South America. It lies inside Argentina and Chile, taking up part of the Andes mountains to the southwest
towards the Pacific Ocean and to the east it includes the Colorado River towards Carmen de Patagones and the Atlantic Ocean. Did you know that Patagonia contains the largest ice-fields in the Southern Hemisphere outside of Antarctica?
The name Patagonia comes from a word used by Magellan in 1520 to describe the native people that his expedition thought were giants. It’s now thought that Patagons were actually “Tehuelches” who were taller than the rather short Spaniards.
From El Calafate, I might travel first to El Chaltén and hike the Glacier National Park, Laguna de Los Tres and Laguna Torre for incredible views of the magical peaks and glaciers. I might also explore the Moreno Glacier.
I may travel south into Chile to the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park, then hike through the world-renowned rugged beauty of Patagonia, with breathtaking views of the three pink granite “Towers” and where I would expect to see unique wildlife, including vicuña, rheas and Patagonian hares. I might travel by boat on Lake Pehoe among the icebergs of Grey Glacier.
Help me go to Patagonia… Please donate so I can share my experiences with you. Thanks!

Bonjour
je suis en train de faire un article des cristaux de sel. Est ce que c’est possible de eventuellement utiliser votre photo de la récolte du fleur de sel?
Merci beaucoup pour votre aide
